Quality of insulation works largely depends on applied cement slurries, therefore special attention is given to study of the slurries properties, selection of formulation, new astringent fillers and setting time regulators. Therewith, it is judged from the condition, that plugging material shall meet the requirements of filterability, setting time, water loss, adhesive behavior, durability, and impermeability. Cement slurries and cement stone applied in many cases do not satisfy these conditions. This requires search of new materials ensuring long-term operation period of the well without repair.
