The paper is considered with the question of oil and gas abiogenic synthesis, the origin and distribution of oil and gas potential on our planet. The article provides an overview of the giant fields and industrial oil and gas accumulations in the crystalline basement rocks all around the world. Based on the analysis of issued data, a deep abiotic oil and gas origin is reasoned.
